Prevention is better than cure
A lot of members have been receiving scam messages from unknown people.One thing which you should keep in mind that none of the team members will never DM you first.It’s some sort of common sense too that if there is any official announcement then why would we DM everyone instead of just announcing it officially.
So what can you do to prevent this?
We recommend you to adjust your settings.

1.Go to “Settings”
2.Choose “Privacy and Security”
3.Then select “Group & Channels”
4.”Who can add me” - Change this to “Nobody”

2.Choose “Privacy and Security”
3.Check “New chats from Unknown users”
4.Turn the “Archive and Mute” function ON
